Nomikos Foundation, with the 3D reproductions of the frescoes of Akrotiri and ends at the monastery of St. Nicholas, founded in 1651 by the family Gkyzi. You will not need no more than 15 minutes walk to get to Firostefani from Fira.

Profile: A quiet and beautiful village of Santorini with stunning caldera view. Traditional architecture and beautiful views to the caldera are the main characteristics.

Attractions: Firostefani is a village- attraction itself as here you can enjoy the view to caldera without the crowds of Fira.

Food: One of the best culinary neighborhoods on the island. It may have a few restaurants but they all have a different type of cuisines so in Firostefani you will enjoy Italian at Il Cantuccio, Greek Mediterranean cuisine with incredible views at Remvi, for sushi head to Ginger, for Greek creative cuisine try Mylos, whereas if you want a traditional lunch or dinner in Firostefani visit Aktaeon the oldest restaurant on the island.

Coffee: At the Galini Café, which is one of the most beautiful terraces of Firostefani with a sophisticated decoration where you enjoy an early morning breakfast, while during the day you can choose from the menu light dishes, salads, handmade desserts and drinks and cocktails. Another excellent suggestion for coffee and drinks is Mylos Café, built-in a traditional windmill.

Shopping: For clothing and accessories you will find interesting proposals in Pumice, and head to Aegean Designs for souvenirs and gifts such as hand pads and homeware painted with bright colors.

Night Life: While it is mostly an area for dining at Galini Café and Mylos Café you can enjoy drinks before head to Fira.

Visiting Idea: Firostefani is nice all day long, from morning for coffee and breakfast, at sunset (less crowded than Fira and Oia) and in the evening for dinner.
