Where is: Oia or Ano Meria (as locals call the village of Oia) is located 11 km north-east of Fira and is the absolute must- see during your visit to Santorini.

Oia has wonderful architecture that combines the rich captains the cave dwellings of crews of ships which have now become luxury hotels . Even if you are not staying in Oia visit to the village is essential.
