GPS: From Fira take the road to Perissa and turn to the sign for Akrotiri. There are several signs that lead you to the Red Beach. You can park at the beginning of the trail leading to Red Beach, where the bus ends as well. The walking route from there takes about ten minutes.
Picture: The most volcanic of all beaches in Santorini. A majestic red rock dominates the beach and creates a unique volcanic coastal scenery.
Beach Life: A few sun loungers and enough space for towels. You will find thin red pebble in and out of the sea. Water and other supplies is advisable to be taken from the canteens at the beginning of the trail.
People: All visitors of Santorini arrive to Red Beach for photographs, and also to admire this unique beach.
Food/drink: The Red Beach has only fruit sellers. For food you will visit the port of Akrotiri.
After beach: Combine Red Beach with a visit to the archaeological site of Akrotiri.
