Where is: Imerovigli is the highest point of the caldera and is located 3 km north of Fira.

Profile: One of the most privileged parts of the island in terms of view as it has a fantastic view to the volcano, the sea and Thirasia island.

Attractions: While Imerovigli is an area full of hotels is worth discovering Panagia Maltesa with the unique wooden temple and walk to Skaros. In the rock of Skaros was built the first castle city of Santorini (early 15^th century). Today there is nothing left from that period but at the front of the imposing rock is the church of Panagia Theoskepasti with absolutely gorgeous view.

Food: Few but good food choices in Imerovigli. For Greek cuisine with view try Imerovigli tavern or La Maison restaurant.
