How to reach Santorini

 

By boat

Santorini is connected with Piraeus/ Athens by boat daily and throughout the year. Boats depart from the port of Piraeus and exits E1, E6.
Duration: The trip by boat lasts 8 to 9 hours, while the trip with high-speed vessels lasts around 5 hours.
TIP: If you are traveling to Santorini during summer months is advisable to book your tickets in advance.

By airplane

From Athens. The island of Santorini is connected to Athens with flights of Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air daily and throughout the year. The flight lasts 30 to 40 minutes.
From Thessaloniki. During the summer months Santorini is connected to Thessaloniki with flights of Aegean Airlines. The flight lasts about 1 to 1 ½ hours.
Heraklion Crete, Mykonos: The Olympic Air offers connecting flights from Santorini to Heraklion, Crete and Mykonos during the summer months.
From European cities: During the months of May to October Santorini is connected with straight flights from cities all around Europe.
